President

Air Vice Marshall Fin Monahan OBE, DFC, PhD
Monahan joined the Royal Air Force in 1991, after serving with the East Lowlands Universities Air Squadron. He flew Harriers over Bosnia and Kosovo and was awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross due to his support of Australian Special Forces in Afghanistan. In 2007, Monahan took command of Cambridge University Air Squadron. In 2014 he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2014. In addition to being a founding member of the CUAS Alumni Association he is also the patron of West Lancs and Merseyside Myeloma Support Group.

Rebecca Camm MA(Hons) Cantab PgDip RAF 
Rebecca studied Geography at Downing College Cambridge, graduating in 2009. She served as an RAF Officer for 12 years gaining qualifications in Project Management and Defensive Cyber Security. In 2023 she gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Event Management and Marketing. She currently works in adventure travel and raises money for the Lincoln Foodbanks.

Miles William-Noble MA MS
Miles joined the RAF in 1961 as a Henlow University Engineering Cadet, and a year later went to Trinity College, Cambridge to read Mechanical Sciences. He joined the Air Squadron and enjoyed flying Chipmunks out of Marshall’s Airfield. He served in the RAF until 1997, reaching the rank of Air Commodore. He has a Master’s degree in Astronautics from Wright Patterson AFB, was Senior Engineering Officer on the Harrier OCU, OC Engineering Wing at Brize Norton and OC No 1 School of Technical Training at RAF Halton. After leaving the RAF. He was Registrar of the Farriers Registration Council for 10 years, and served as High Sheriff of Rutland for the year 2004/2005.

Katie Fletcher
Katie studied Chemical Engineering at Queens' College, Cambridge, graduating in 2009. She spent five years in the RAF and then joined the Boston Consulting Group. Since leaving BCG, she has continued to work as a strategic advisor for various startups and corporations. She recently returned from 3 years living in Australia.

Flying Member

Ben Moss PhD
Ben studied engineering at Trinity College. Cambridge and completed a PhD with Airbus at Southampton. He is a reservist in the Royal Engineers’s airfields specialist team, and is a private engineering tutor. Ben is a keen aviator, and fond of going to northern France for lunch in his PA28.

Dr Leanne Eveson (Sqn Ldr) MBBS MA(Hons)Cantab MRCP fCMgr AICSM RAF 
Leanne studied Medicine at St John's College, graduating in 2010.  She is serving as a RAF Cardiology Registrar and is currenlty studying for a DPhil in medical sciences at Oxford University, focussing on enhanced assessment of coronary disease and cardiovascular risk in aircrew. She is the lead on the 100th Anniversary celebrations in 2025.

Barley Rose Collier Harris 
Barley Rose studied Bio NatSci at Murray Edwards (2015-2018) she then did her PhD in Forest genetics at the University of Oxford (2019-2024). She works as a scientist in forestry and is currently taking a six month sabbatical travelling abroad.

Peter Giles OBE MA PhD
Peter read Engineering at Clare College, Cambridge, before graduating in 1967 and staying on to carry out research in Control Engineering as a RAF University Cadet.  After a 33 year career in the RAF Engineer Branch he ran his own defence consultancy for 10 years.  In retirement, when not hiking around the countryside of the UK and Sweden, he is involved with several charities, mostly in their finance and technology activities.

Connor Cheverall MSc
Connor studied Natural Sciences at Clare College, graduating in 2020. He is now completing a PhD in Astrophysics, characterising the atmospheres of exoplanets and searching for indicators of life.

Emma Hindley MBE MA PhD
Emma was a member of CUAS from 2006 - 2009 whilst studying Natural Sciences at Cambridge. After completing a PhD in Neuroscience, she joined the Civil Service in 2013, where she has held roles in the Cabinet Office, Ministry for Justice, and Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, among others. Emma was awarded an MBE in the 2024 Birthday Honours list for services to online safety in recognition of her role managing the Online Safety Act.

APO Geethana Yogarajah
Geethana is a 6th (and final) year medical student from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. After graduation in 2025, she aims to become a Sports and Exercise Medicine doctor. She am excited to be Alumni Association Project Officer this year and is keen to organise events that bring CUAS and Alumni closer together.
